About the Center for Holistic Medicine
About the Center for Holistic Medicine
The Center for Holistic Medicine in West Bloomfield, Michigan was established by three of the most progressive and prominent physicians in holistic medicine today. Dr. David Brownstein, Dr. Richard Ng, and Dr. Jeffery Nusbaum are conventionally trained, licensed Family Physicians, with the additional overlay of holistic principles. Our team is completed by Taylor Eason, NP-BC and Jennie Drummond, PA-C.
While the Center for Holistic Medicine does not claim to have a cure for any illness, we do believe that we can enhance the individual’s immune system by supporting the ‘host’ & the terrain of the host. The human body is well designed and the immune system, when given the proper support, can optimally function.
We are accepting new patients! If you are interested in scheduling a new patient appointment please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to working with you. Stay Well!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL PATIENTS OF THE CENTER FOR HOLISTIC MEDICINE
Dear Center for Holistic Medicine Patients-
The following office policies have been updated as of Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 to maintain the safety of our patients and staff:
-Patients and staff are required to wear a mask or face covering upon entering the building (if medically tolerated).
-Patients are not permitted to bring friends, family members, significant others to their appointment, unless absolutely necessary. If you require special assistance by a companion, we kindly ask that they assist you as needed and wait in the car during your appointment.
– In order to maintain social distancing in our office, we will need to limit the number of people in the building throughout the day. We now have curbside check-in for patients who have an appointment. You will be greeted outside by a CHM Staff Member to assist with the check-in process. We have a comfortable seating area outside where you may wait until the Nurse is ready to bring you in to the office. If you prefer to wait in your car, please check-in by texting us at: 248-939-4925. Be sure to include your full name and who you are scheduled to see. A CHM Staff Member will call you when the Nurse is ready. Patients have found this service to be particularly helpful when the weather is not conducive to waiting outside.
– Patients are required to have their temperatures checked prior to entering the building. A non-contact, digital thermometer will be used. Temperatures will be taken outside during Curbside Check-In. All CHM Staff are required to have their temperatures checked prior to their work shift. A non-contact, digital thermometer will be used.
-If you plan to come to our office to purchase supplements, you will now be greeted by a CHM Staff Member at the door to take your order and process it while you wait outside. Depending on the time of day, there may be a line. Please be patient as we will have staff on hand to keep things moving as quickly as possible. It would be ideal if you placed your order by phone or online so that we may ship it to you. Our flat rate shipping fee will be waived for orders shipped within the 48 Contiguous US.
-Appointment by Phone / Telemedicine is available to you as an option. Rates will remain the same as in-office appointments. While our Medical Staff is available to see patients in person, we do encourage you to use this service as an option for appointments that do not require an in-person visit.
– Due to the COVID crisis, we have been inundated with calls resulting in extended hold time. As an option, you may also email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. One of our staff members will follow up with you accordingly. If you need to send a fax please do so at: 248-851-0421.
-If you have an urgent matter and need to speak with your doctor after business hours, call 248-225-7937. Please remember that this number is intended for emergencies only. Messages left on this phone line regarding prescription refills, online orders, appointments, or lab results will not be returned.
