About My Extended Team
Katherine Erlich, M.D. is a pediatrican who completed her pediatric residency at William Beaumont Hospital in 1998. She practiced conventional pediatrics in Oakland County for 11 years before opening Healing the Whole Child (www.healingthewholechild.com). Over the years, she welcomed newborn babies into the world and treated sick children at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Providence Hosptial in Southfield and Novi, Henry Ford Hospital, Huron Valley Hospital, and Sinai-Grace Hospital.
In June 2009, Dr. Erlich said good-bye to her large conventional pediatric practice in Bingham Farms, Michigan and, in October 2009, she resumed caring for patients through Healing the Whole Child, PLLC. Dr. Erlich has a passion for trying to understand why people get sick and for learning how to help children truly be well, not just how to suppress symptoms. Consequently Dr. Erlich has focused on learning ways to prevent illness and help to support our bodies’ innate ability to heal.
