A Bright Future Awaits Us!

As a holistic physician, I have never been more excited.  As an American, I have never been more proud.   With Robert F. Kennedy as Secretary of HHS we are finally seeing positive changes that will translate into a reversal of our dismal health outcomes.   

There has been a lot of talk about the rising incidence of chronic health conditions in the American population.  Over three-quarters of adult Americans currently suffer from chronic illness. Our kids are the sickest children in the Western world.  We don’t live as long as other Western populations.  I have been talking about this for years and am happy to see this become a very hot topic now. 

One of the best things you can do to treat these chronic conditions and improve your overall health is to eat healthy food and avoid ultra-processed food.  Along those lines I am very happy to announce that two of our doctors at the Center for Holistic Medicine – my daughters - Dr. Hailey Brownstein and Dr. Jessica Brownstein will be speaking at the Make Michigan Healthy Again event at the Clarkston Farm on Saturday September 27th from 2pm-5pm.  This event is being organized by the Children’s Health Defense of Michigan.   

The event is all about wellness and healthy living and fun activities for the kids. In addition to  Drs. Brownstein, there will be other speakers and lots of fun activities for the kids including hayrides, animal interactions and a pull-up competition.
